 And, a company that is  known for its workforce especially Matrimony.com proves the Bang For The Buck deal of 11 crores by acquiring Boatman Tech, the promoters of online wedding services company ShaadiSaga.com 




First, let's see a short introduction of matrimony.com and the Shaadi saga




Matrimony.com Limited, whose flagship brand is BharatMatrimony, is a network of matchmaking services. More than 4000 employees work at over 20 offices across India. The company also has offices in the US and Dubai.

BharatMatrimony operates in 15 regional languages. In 2006, Bharat Matrimony earned an entry in the Limca Book of World Records for having facilitated the highest number of documented marriages online in India.

In 2012, the company came out with Matrimony Directory, a wedding vendors classifieds portal It features over 50,000 wedding related services in over 20 cities. In 2013, Consim Info changed its name to Matrimony.com


      


Shaadi.com is an Indian online wedding service founded in 1997. Its core market is India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, but it operates globally, with offices in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States.

Shaadi.com began as Sagaai.com in 1997. Its founder, Anupam Mittal, changed its name to Shaadi.com in 1999, believing it to be a more marketable name. By 2008, it had become the world's leading matrimonial website for Asians and had twenty million users by 2011. In addition to online matchmaking, Shaadi.com runs over one hundred Shaadi Centres, retail outlets that offer matrimony-related services. The first was opened in Mumbai in 2004.


The deal will enable Matrimony.com to scale up its presence significantly in the North and West regions, strengthen its product capabilities and become the largest wedding services player across the country, a regulatory filing said.




Following this acquisition, ShaadiSaga’s founders — Himanshu Kapsime (CEO) and Manish Garg (COO) and CPO Niraj Patel will join Matrimony.com in senior leadership roles. “We intend to integrate ShaadiSaga’s product, technology and social media assets with our offerings i.e., WeddingBazaar.com and Mandap.com. With this approach, we believe this deal will significantly strengthen the positioning of Wedding Bazaar.com and Mandap.com in the industry and will enable both brands to become the #1 wedding services brands pan India,” Murugavel Janakiraman, chairman and MD, Matrimony.com said.

Both companies are well known, one for matrimony and another for wedding services. It will gonna boost up the entire marriage proposal, the different peoples from different localities all over India. Especially it can be a good deal for those who usually went on check sometimes on this site on another, but now both of them are merged.
